This program is for students of all grades and their parents and caregivers.

National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. For over 50 years, Reflections has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life.

2026 Theme 

 The 2026-2027 Reflections program theme is "What My Culture Means to Me." This theme was created by Sophia Partola from Wilton High School PTSA in Connecticut.

What are the categories? Dance, film, music, photography, visual arts and literature

How do I submit my entry to FAAM? Fill out the attached student entry form. Attach the completed digital form and a digital copy of your work to an email and send to ​reflections@faampta.org​. Each email will have two attachments - entry form and artwork! Make sure the title of your email is your name and the category you are entering (ex: John Smith - Film).

Do I put my name on the artwork? No! Your name is only on the digital entry form.

This seems different than last year? It is! For those that have entered before - this is a new process requested by the Alabama PTA!!!
